ST. VINCENT ELECTRICITY SERVICES LIMITED VACANCY - SECURITY GUARD (Richmond Power Station)

St. Vincent Electricity Services Limited (VINLEC) is seeking to recruit a dependable individual for the job as Security Guard at the Richmond Power Station. The successful applicant will be responsible for controlling the movement of personnel, materials and vehicles and securing the employees and the Company’s assets on the compound.

JOB SUMMARY

The employee will be responsible for securing the Company’s property and employees by patrolling the boundary fences and by carrying out random checks inside the buildings. He/she must maintain a log book to record all events occurring on his/her shift including, names of visitors to the premises, movement of Company and other vehicles, and movement of Company property. He/she will also be required to make checks regularly to monitor the general operation of the generators. The individual will be required to comply with all relevant Safety Regulations and Guidelines applicable to Power Plant operation and perform related tasks as required.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

 Complete Secondary school with the ability to read and write English Language well

 A minimum of two (2) years’ work related experience
