VACANCY – HANDYMAN

St. Vincent Electricity Service Limited (VINLEC) is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and responsible individual to fill the position of Handyman.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and preparing buildings and engine parts for painting, assisting with the cleaning and clearing of worksites to facilitate construction and general maintenance activities, and supporting a range of carpentry works. The role also involves assisting with masonry work including laying blocks and mending walls; mixing concrete and mortar, handling aggregate, bending steel, assisting with water and diesel lines, and carrying out other related tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

 Completion of Form Three secondary school education

 At least three (3) years work-related experience

 Ability to perform semi-skilled carpentry, plumbing, masonry, steel bending and general construction works.
