ST. VINCENT ELECTRICITY SERVICES LIMITED BUILDING SERVICEMAN I

St. Vincent Electricity Services Limited is seeking to recruit a meticulous individual to fill the post of Building Serviceman I, Planning Department.

JOB SUMMARY

The successful candidate will be required to rehabilitate and maintain VINLEC owned or controlled buildings by providing skilled services in carpentry, masonry and plumbing maintenance. The role also includes implementing site and plant modifications, assisting in assessing maintenance requirements, supporting site preparation activities, and ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

 Attain fifth form secondary school education

 Formal training in building construction or ability to perform carpentry, masonry, tiling, plumbing and steel bending

 At least two (2) years’ work related experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

 Multi-skilled in building maintenance and construction.

 Strong plumbing competencies.

 Hardworking and reliable.

 Ability to work independently and within a team.

 Safety-conscious with attention to detail.

 Willing to grow with and contribute to a progressive organisation.
