VINLEC’s  Commitment to  Environmental, Health and Safety

VINLEC is committed to the achievement of the highest standard of safe design, construction, operation and maintenance of plant and apparatus, and to the provision of safe and healthy working conditions, equipment and systems of work for all staff and customers.

VINLEC is also committed to achieving a high level of environmental protection and to preventing, mitigating and minimizing environmental impact and pollution.
VINLEC expects Engineers and Supervisors and all staff to exercise constant vigilance to ensure that safety awareness is maintained.  The responsibility for health and safety ranks equally in importance with all other actions necessary to develop and maintain an efficient and successful Company.
Health, safety and environmental protection require various elements that are coordinated to ensure the wellbeing of all employees and the general public. They also involve the elimination or minimization of any potential hazards while at work or due to workplace exposure.
The following are the main aspects of VINLEC’s Health, Safety and Environmental Management System. Continual improvement in these areas will result in an EHS System that is proactive, responsive and protective of our staff and the public at large.
  1. Health and Safety Policy
  2. Environmental Policy
  3. Safety manuals – General and Electrical & Mechanical
  4. Safety Committees
  5. Disaster Management Plan
  6. Workplace, vehicle and worksite inspections and audits
  7. Fire safety systems
  8. Safety and First Aid supplies and training
  9. Provision of appropriate safety gear
  10. Incident reporting and investigation
Employees are urged to consult the safety manuals regularly and refresh their  knowledge of the EHS systems and the specific roles they are required to perform to make them work.  We encourage the public to cooperate with us to avoid accidents and damage which may result from the unsafe use of electricity and other dangerous encounters with our various infrastructure and installations. Please ensure that you observe all WARNING signs posted.
